Flax and Berry Blast Breakfast for Colon Health & Overall Wellness

Ingredients

1/4 cup of Nature’s Path Organic Flax Seed Cereal
1/2 cup 2% or Skim Vitamin D Fortified Organic Milk
1/4 cup frozen organic strawberries
1/4 cup frozen organic blueberries
1/4 cup frozen organic raspberries or blackberries
1/3 cup fresh organic pineapple
1/2 fresh banana
1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

Blend milk, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries, pineapple, banana, & Greek yogurt to a creamy consistency. Pour flax seed cereal in to a bowl, mix with the berry blend and enjoy!

I recommend using a Vitamix. I have the Vitamix 7500, Black. Yes, it is pricey, but worth every penny! In future recipes to be posted, I will be using the Vitamix for smoothies, sauces, & soups.

Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, & strawberries contain phytochemicals that inhibit cancer cells in rat’s colons by up to 80% and contain very healthy doses of vitamin C and fiber.
